Jamy / 2020

The “Jamy” [Caves] project marks another attempt at capturing a certain “sensation”. It is a continuation of my previous collection— “Shape”. It is carried out under the scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

The objects are result of a month of research during my design residency at Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft. The project called Decay started with three fungi, which I found in a forest near Ditchling. And evolved to become a work about special sort of decay, which is not destructive, but rather creative force

In the forests of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, the oldest mountain range in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe, there are still prehistoric stone circles that, according to ancient beliefs, are places of power emanating a unique energy. The collection of modular and multifunctional furniture is a naturalistic study of the orthoquartzite rock of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains and it refers to pagan rites of the ancient Slavs. Single piece of furniture can serve as a table, a seat, or a storage

Fossils / 2017

Fossils are objects that require involvement. Their user cannot remain indifferent but must inspect, touch and play with them. The collection is inspired by fossil forms and consists of a hand-carved coffee table and a set of wall shelves with ceramic tableware, as well as a cabinet and a hand-woven kilim rug. The openings in the tabletop are designed to accommodate the tableware. The shapes of the individual pieces of crockery match specific openings.

Launched by wood artist Anna Bera in 2014, The Whole Elements is a design studio and a wood workshop based in Warsaw. Dedicated to creating furniture pieces, often crafted by hand from wood, the brand is notable for its bridging of art and design, with inspiration coming from Bera's observations of the relationship between humans and nature — from a biological, spiritual and cultural perspective. With particular focus on texture and sensory richness, The Whole Elements production process goes hand in hand with the brand's workshop where all of Bera's projects are implemented.
